Mayor of Mobile Says Shen Yun Is ‘Spectacular!’

MOBILE, Ala.—Sandy Stimpson, mayor of the city of Mobile, and his wife Jean Stimpson were delighted by Shen Yun at Mobile Civic Center Theater in Alabama on April 30. “It’s wonderful. It’s very inspiring. The costumes are beautiful. The dancing is splendid. It’s just a wonderful experience!” said Mayor Stimpson. In “one word,” he said, Shen Yun is “Spectacular!” Based in New York, Shen Yun Performing Arts is the world’s premier classical Chinese dance company. Along with Chinese folk and ethnic dance, the production presents story-based dances that depict the history and traditional culture of China from ancient times to today.
