Precinct Walking Tools

The Oklahoma Voter Portal is a wonderful tool for doing lots of things.

Here's the link: https://okvoterportal.okelections.us
Here's a screenshot of the site:

From here you can do lots of things.

Top Arrow - this points to the link where you can register to vote.
NOTE: To register to vote, you must fill out the form, print it off, and mail it in. This can not be finished online.
Below the top arrow is a link to sign up for alerts and updates from the Oklahoma State Election Board, which includes when absentee, early, and regular voting takes place and reminders to vote, and other updates from the OSEB. This isn't spamming at all and I find these emails very helpful.

Next, fill in your name and birthdate, and click find me to bring up your personal information.

Here you can check your information to make sure it's correct. If it's not, you can select one of the boxes at the bottom of the page (you may have to scroll down) to select the task you want to complete.
NOTE: As mentioned before, you CAN change addresses online within a county, you CANNOT change addresses online from one county to another county. You will have to go to your county election board, a tag agent or a post office (at the tag agent or post office you will have to ask for the forms. They may not be lying out.). The Oklahoma County Election Board is located at 4201 N. Lincoln.

Scrolling down you can get all sorts of other valuable information like a polling place, sample ballots (so you can read those long questions votes without having to stand in the booth trying to figure them all out - of course hopefully by then voters have been contacted enough that they know who they're going to vote for), Upcoming Elections, Absentee Ballots, your voting history, information about your county election board and your voting districts. It's a catch-all for anything you need to know about your voting status.

Below that you can change your political affiliation (this is handy when you're walking the precinct and can show voters how to change their party to GOP!)

This is another good site to keep bookmarked on your phone.

These are two great links. They look very similar but they are not and you will want both maps.

The first map is a map of the whole Oklahoma county with outlines of all the precincts. That map can be found here:
https://csagis-uok.opendata.arcgis.com/ ... cinct-maps

The second map is "book" of all the precincts within one county. That map can be found here:
https://csagis-uok.opendata.arcgis.com/ ... -map-books

The difference is that the first map can outline all the precincts within one county and make it great for organizing precincts, or your neighbor precinct. The second map is a detailed individual map of whole individual precincts. This is key for precinct chairs to organize their precinct into block captains or street leaders.

Both of these maps are key for working your neighborhood.

I will try to keep this up to date as possible, but here are a few downloads from the ongoing redistricting process:

This is a wonderful, interactive site for up-to-date redistricting information.
https://okhouse.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Ma ... a5daec85f7

Scroll on the left to go to Senate Districts, House Districts, and even Voter Precincts. This should show the updated redistricting for 2021. Here are some screen shots:

This is the House District Map. You can scroll in (cntrl+scroll up) or use the + - in the upper left corner to zoom into your address or precinct area. From here simply click on the location you want to know the senate district and the map will outline it and give you a label of the senate district.

This is the Senate District Map. You can scroll into your location, and click on that location and it will be outlined with a description of the House District Number for that location.

Here are Voter Districts. This is excellent for seeing all the voter districts. Check this out to see if there are any changes for your area.

Finally here is a screenshot of the Left Menu showing all the different maps and locations, School Board, County Commissioners, Congressional Districts (please note this is the biggest change and part of Oklahoma County now includes 3 different CD as of 2021), so all of these maps can be of interest. You can keep this link bookmarked on your phone and while walking your neighborhood, if you don't know the school district or county commissioner, you can easily look it up here.

If you have any questions or comments about these maps, feel free to hit the quotes in the upper right corner of the post of this message and ask away!
