Florida Bride, Caterer Arrested after Serving ‘Pot-Laced’ Food to Wedding Guests

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – A Florida bride and her caterer have been arrested on charges of serving marijuana-laced food to unsuspecting wedding guests in February. Danya Glenny, a 42-year-old Longwood, Fla. resident was arrested on April 18 along with a 31-year-old wedding caterer, Joycelyn Montrinice Bryant, owner of Jocelyn’s Southern Kitchen, for tampering, culpable negligence, and delivery of marijuana, according to police reports. After a two-month-long investigation, authorities determined that Glenny had “schemed” with the caterer Bryant to put cannabis in the wedding guests’ food. Seminole County Sheriff’s office released to The Epoch Times body cam video of the exchange between the newlywed couple and deputies at the scene. ...
