Pit Bulls Attack 1-Year-Old Girl in Pico Rivera

PICO RIVERA, Calif.—A 1-year-old girl was rushed to a trauma center after she was injured in a pit bull attack in Pico Rivera, and she is expected to undergo surgery on April 25 for a hip fracture at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. Paramedics were sent to the 9600 block of Homebrook Street at 10:19 p.m. on April 24 on a report of a dog bite incident, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The girl, a toddler named Ruby Ann Cervantes, is one of four people injured in the dog attack. Fire officials told Fox 11 that several people were injured and four victims were taken to a hospital and required stitches. ...
