Oklahoma Voter Portal is Cool - Lots You Can Do Here

Post by claireokc »

The Oklahoma Voter Portal can answer a lot of questions about voting while you're out walking your precinct. This can be so helpful, especially when you run across folks who either don't want to get out or can't get out or don't know where to go. At their door with your smart phone you can go to the Oklahoma Voter Portal and they can sign-on, and find out all sorts of valuable information.

At the TOP:
Voter ID, Precinct number, Party Affiliation and Zip Code.

At the MIDDLE BAR
Here's some great info
Polling Place - so they know right where to go
Sample Ballot that they can go to and download so they know exactly how they want to vote before they go to the polls
Upcoming Elections
Absentee Ballots - this tells them the status of the Absentee ballots
Voting History
Contact information for their County Election Board
And Voting Districts - what school district they're in, City Ward, and all the detailed info of their location. (This is really helpful cause we have some important school board elections coming up).

The THIRD BAR
All these are great ways to bring up-to-date voters status and request an Absentee Ballot and all sorts of other things here.
The link at the bottom of the Third Bar Complete a Voter Registration Application, they can fill out part of it online, but then they will have to print it out and mail it in or take it in - this is for out-of-county registration or out-of-state registration, or registering for the first time.

Go over there and familiarize yourself with the portal. It's a very handy tool when walking your precinct.
