Deadline for Registering to Vote

Post by claireokc »

From the State Election Board

While you're out walking, you can carry along some registration forms. You can get them at the Tag Agencies and at the Post Office - you might not see them, so you might have to ask for them - they might have them behind the counter. They are handy to carry with you when you're walking the precinct.

Remember the rules on voter registration for the state:
  1. If you are changing addresses within a county, you can do that online
    Oklahoma Voter Portal
  2. If you are changing voter address from out of state or out of the county, then you will need to fill out a registration form and mail it in my January 24th
  3. If you are changing parties you can do that online at
    Oklahoma Voter Portal
It's very handy to have information about how to register, change parties and what you can do online, and what you can't. Carry your smartphone with you cause a lot of these you can do on your smartphone for them or at the least show them how to do it on their phone
