Situated on the North coastline of the Altus Plateau, Windmill Village presents a unique farming opportunity. The village is reminiscent of a Midsommar festival, with Elden Ring Runes locals engaged in festive activities. Approach cautiously, as these locals turn hostile when approached too closely. Clearing them out, including the formidable boss Godskin Apostle, can yield around 7000 Runes in just a few minutes. Respawn them quickly to repeat the process.
5. Backstabbing at the Haligtree
In the late-game, the Haligtree area offers a strategic farming location. Start at the Prayer Room Site of Grace and head North through the door. Navigate the parapets, where you can backstab enemies overlooking the sea or engage with easier knights and foot soldiers. Each enemy defeated here drops between 2000 to 3000 Runes. This method allows skilled players to amass up to 40,000 Runes in a short session before returning to cheap Elden Ring Runes safety.
